UV Smart showed a poster here of the Multi Center Study by Radboud and Yana Halmans about the D60. It was nice to engage in conversation with this target group and discuss where the UV Smart D60 can contribute to their hospitals.
On July 25, Nicolas Cediey and Noor Everts visited a clinical physicist, Geert Geleijnse, at Erasmus MC. Geert spends most of his time in the ENT department. Here he does research on the image quality of endoscopes. In addition to his current research, Geert also examined the image quality of an endoscope disinfected with the D60. We will discuss the research and the results of this test here.
On 31 March, the D60 was officially launched, and we are very proud of it! The D60 is now certified (class IIa) and clinically validated. With the D60 you can now disinfect channelless endoscopes and TEE probes with UV-C light in 60 seconds.
